Usual IoT, smart home or robotics devices need a signal, e.g. Wifi. It would be useful to reuse these old Wifi-Repeater sticks and plug them into HomeAssistant to extend the reach of your network. This would be a useful and cost effective in my own case where we can’t lay internet cables nor, as a student, seem to be able to afford expensive repeaters.

Seems like a fun experiment to me ;)
